Description
Sencha teas leaves undergo very little processing. To prevent oxidation, as soon as the leaves are picked, they are immediately steamed, and then dried and rolled. This minor processing ensures the sencha tea retains all of its nutrients and lovely properties. As with most teas, the antioxidants in Sencha tea are renowned for lowering oxidative stress on the body, and boosting the immune system. These same antioxidants can also help burn extra calories, while the caffeine content works as a metabolism booster, giving you more energy during the day, while also helping to burn fat.
